Who you are dealing with

This store is operated by Digitplus Technology Limited, Suite M2, Zone 3 Shopping Complex, Abuja, Nigeria. You can reach us at hello@thedigitplus.com or +234 803 786 8120. Below, “we” means that company and “you” means the person placing the order. Using this site means accepting these terms.

Orders

Adding something to your basket doesn't reserve it. Your order is an offer to buy, and the contract forms when we confirm it by email after payment succeeds. Until then we may decline it — the usual reasons being that the item sold out, we couldn't verify the payment, or the price was wrong.

If a price is obviously wrong we will contact you before charging you, and you can confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund. We won't quietly charge the higher amount.

You need to be old enough to enter a contract, and the details you give us must be accurate. Deliveries fail more often from a wrong phone number than from anything else.

Prices and payment

All prices are in Nigerian naira (₦). 7.5% VAT is added at checkout on the item total after any discount; delivery is not taxed. The full breakdown — items, delivery, VAT, total — is shown before you pay, and that total is what you are charged.

Payment is handled by Paystack. Card details go to Paystack directly; we never see or store them. We may cancel and refund an order where a payment is later reversed or flagged as fraudulent.

Delivery

We deliver within Nigeria. Delivery is priced by destination and order weight — a flat rate for Abuja at any weight, and weight bands for the rest of the country, with Standard or Express chosen at checkout. Current rates, delivery estimates and the order value that earns free Standard delivery are on shipping & returns, which reads the same rate table the checkout charges from.

Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Digital products carry no delivery charge.

Returns and refunds

You have 14 days from delivery to return most items in their original packaging. We can't accept returns on activated software, or on items physically damaged after delivery. Refunds go back through Paystack and typically settle within 3–10 working days, depending on your bank.

Nothing here limits your rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act. If an item is faulty, misdescribed or not fit for purpose, those rights apply whatever this page says.

Product condition

Every product page states its condition, and the label means what it says:

  • New— sealed and unused, covered by the manufacturer's warranty plus Digitplus extended cover.
  • DP Refurbished — refurbished in-house by us: cleaned, tested and warrantied.
  • Used — pre-owned, fully tested and working, described honestly. Used items do not carry a manufacturer or one-year warranty. They come with the same 14-day return window and Digitplus support.

Photographs are illustrative; the written description and the condition label govern what you are buying.

Warranty

New and DP Refurbished items carry the manufacturer's warranty plus our extended cover — see warrantyfor how to claim. Warranty doesn't cover accidental damage, liquid damage, unauthorised repair, or normal wear such as battery capacity loss.

Software licences

Licence keys are delivered by email after payment, and are usually issued by hand rather than instantly — allow a little time, and check your spam folder before contacting us.

A licence is sold under the software publisher's own terms, which you accept when you activate it. Once a key has been revealed or activated it can't be returned; that is the one category where the 14-day window doesn't apply. If a key doesn't work, tell us and we'll replace it or refund you.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself — you're responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend or close accounts used for fraud, chargeback abuse, or attempts to disrupt the site. You can ask us to close your account at any time; see privacy for how we handle that and what we're required to keep.

Reviews and content

Product descriptions, photographs, and the Digitplus name and logo are ours or our suppliers', and may not be copied for commercial use. If you post a review you're responsible for it and you give us permission to display it. We may remove content that is unlawful, abusive or fake.

Liability

We stand behind what we sell, within limits. Except where the law doesn't allow it, our total liability for an order is capped at what you paid for that order, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

We don't exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be excluded under Nigerian law. We also don't promise the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, so a later change can't alter an order you have already made.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja have jurisdiction. Talk to us first — support@thedigitplus.com settles most things faster than anything formal.
